Exploring census household density as an interactive 3D surface.
Experimental case study to render census household density as an interactive three.js 3D surface over Metro Vancouver. Height encodes the number of households per area, allowing the geography of densification to be grasped at a glance: the tall spike over downtown Vancouver, the gradual rise along the Broadway corridor, the flat suburban expanse beyond.
