Interactive exploration of Vancouver’s entire street tree inventory.
Vancouver maintains a detailed open dataset of every tree in its street tree inventory — species, diameter at breast height, neighbourhood, and location. This map makes the entire inventory explorable, allowing you to browse by species, filter by size class, and see how the urban forest is distributed across the city.
The data comes from the City of Vancouver Open Data Portal as well as UBC’s tree inventory and is updated periodically as the inventory changes.
