Vancouver Census Map

The Vancouver Census Map is a side project that grew out of an interest in civic issues in the City of Vancouver and triggered by my friend Alejandro emailing me Vancouver census data.

It was easy enough to map so I spent two evenings to plow through the data and pick out something that spiked my interest.

This project is now superseded by CensusMapper, which expands on this project by taking the maps Canada-wide, across all aggregation levels and with all census variables from several censuses available for mapping and analysis.

Be aware that Stats Canada rounds data to protect privacy. And that the data is from 2011.
